About Papaya Fruit Market (Chase & Warren)

Papaya Fruit Market (Chase & Warren) is a specialty food store in Dearborn, Michigan. It is listed at 14615 W Warren Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126, which places it among the local businesses of Dearborn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as supermarket, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Papaya Fruit Market (Chase & Warren) at (313) 945-8891; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is papayaexpress.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Beautiful produce, ripe & ready to eat, but don't expect it to last a few days. It's pretty much buy it to eat that day or the next. The price is very affordable which makes the store a good pick for a twice a week stop. Meats are very fresh & cut in store. If you don't speak Arabic you will have to be persistent & use your hands to help explain what you need. The staff is also persistent in wanting to help you & somehow despite the language barriers it works out. There is usually bilingual shoppers present & they will help you out, just ask nicely. People are pleasant & helpful. It's a melting pot of diversity, good food & prices. Who could ask for more? If you've never been - you gotta try it. You'll be pleased.

Hi guys my name is Ziad so my experience I had was I gotten bread online and it came to my house, it was so hard to eat, and it stinks, it is so sour. This store ( papaya fruit market) is a horrible place, and when we told them to give a refund they said they will but they can’t put it into my other bank account. The reason why I needed it on my other bank account is because the account I bought the bread with is gone. So to complete and wrap this up this store ( papaya fruit market) is horrible, they don’t understand anything

Came by earlier to grab a few things for the wife. Was pleasantly surprised with the amazing service although they were busy. The manager (one in the picture) tall guy was very helping.

Not once or twice multiple times I’ve bought chicken from papaya and every single time it’s expired. Yesterday I bought chicken breasts and the date says 6/11/24 but to my surprise of course the chicken was expired, as soon as I opened the package a strong sour smell hit me, it was disgusting. Their labels are wrong and they know that. Save your selves the trouble and food poisoning and do not purchase chicken and honestly I wouldn’t trust the meat too.
